It is built for hosting providers, freelancers and MSPs, and unlike the obvious alternative it ships source-available, so you can read and change almost all of it rather than working around encoded files.

Blesta 6.0 arrived in August 2026 with a rebuilt admin interface, revenue analytics and real-time notifications. Bought direct, the licence we issue lists at $17.95 a month. Through us it is £2.00 a month ex VAT, on any active hosting, reseller, VPS or server service, which is what makes it add up if you are reselling across several environments.

Everything about a client on one screen

Services, invoices, transactions and support history sit together, so answering "what is this charge?" takes a glance rather than three tabs. The interface is deliberately plain, which is why people who live in it all day tend to prefer it.

Because almost all of it is readable PHP, you can change what does not suit you: the client area, the emails, the workflow. Only a few files, covering licensing, stay encoded.

Blesta requires the following system requirements:

  • PHP: 8.2, 8.3 or 8.4 (8.3 recommended)
  • Database: MySQL 5.7.7+ or MariaDB 10.2.2+
  • PHP Extensions: Ioncube Loaders (v15+), PDO, pdo_mysql, curl (v7.10.5+), openssl (v 1.1.1a+), gmp, imap, json, ldap, libxml, mailparse, iconv, mbstring, simplexml, soap, gd, and zlib

Two things, and that is all:

  • At least one active hosting, reseller, VPS or dedicated server service with Host Media.
  • Blesta installed and hosted on one of those services.

Each licence is linked to a qualifying service, and you can take as many as you need, one per service. You can add a licence when you place a hosting order, or at any time afterwards by asking us.

If you are already hosting with us, tell us which service you want the licence linked to and we will issue it and add it to your existing billing. If you are placing a new order, you can add one during checkout. There is no separate subscription to manage.

The licence is tied to an active service with us, so it ends when that service does. Your Blesta installation, your data and your client history are all yours and stay yours; you would simply need to buy a licence direct from Blesta, currently $17.95 a month, to keep using the software. We would rather say that plainly than have you find out at renewal.

A genuine, fully licensed copy issued through our reseller arrangement with Blesta. That is part of what you are paying for: nulled billing software is a well known malware vector and we would not put it anywhere near your client and payment data, let alone our own network.

The licence we issue is Blesta's Branded tier, which places a small "Powered by Blesta" link in the client area footer. Everything else is unrestricted. If you need that link gone for a fully white-label shopfront, Blesta sell an Unbranded licence direct at $20.95 a month, so that is the route and the cost.

No. Blesta does not gate features by tier: every licence, including this one, comes with all modules and gateways and no limit on clients or staff. The only difference between Blesta's tiers is the branding link in the client area footer.

Blesta ships import tools for the common platforms, and most moves are straightforward, but a billing migration is never a single button: services, module links and pricing need checking on the other side. Talk to us before you start and we will tell you honestly what to expect.

Blesta needs Ioncube Loaders plus extensions such as mailparse, soap and ldap, which are not enabled everywhere. Tell us the service you intend to install on and we will confirm it meets the requirements before you order, rather than after you have started.
